The cooperation with the large family of “Our Children” Societies and parents

We are proud of the large number of 106. There are as many “Our Children” Societies in our country. We are one big family whose members volunteer their free time and enthusiasm in order to organize and implement activities with children in their local communities.

We have shared the same values ​​and goals under the long-standing motto “Love for children before all else!” for 70 years.

And that is why we have carried out numerous humanitarian actions, addiction prevention programmes, prevention of peer violence, programmes for healthy eating, and projects in which we have encouraged education for volunteering, children’s participation and sustainable development.

We have advocated that every place in Croatia should be adapted to the well-being of the child who lives and grows up there, which is what our programme “Towns and Districts – Friends of Children” is widely known for.

In order for “Going to the seaside is every child’s right” programme to reach every corner of Croatia and children that need it the most, we turn to our family – our members and leaders from as many as 106 involved local communities.

They are helping us find children of lower financial status, for whose needs we have designed this humanitarian initiative.

Our managers, in cooperation with local and regional social services and representatives of regional educational institutions, are advising and recommending families who would be happy to join the programme and enable their children to stay at the seaside with us.

Thank you to our family of the “Our Children” Societies for the great effort and cooperation in the realization of this humanitarian initiative for children in their midst.

In this, initial year, of “Going to the seaside is every child’s right” programme, children are joining us from local communities that have local Societies “Our Children”, from: Petrovsko, Desinić, Sveti Križ Začretje, Kutina, Ozalj, Vukovar, Ogulin, Duga Resa, Slatina, Gospić, Petrinja, Sveti Ivan Zelina and Radoboj.

Finally, thank you, dear parents, for placing your trust in us in the beginning of the year 2023 and intrusting your children to our care during summer holidays.
